Treatment
We will work out a treatment plan for you. Everyone is unique and the acupuncture points will be specific to your individual needs.
Therapeutic Massage
On occasion, particularly for muscular skeletal conditions, therapeutic massage may be given before acupuncture is done to help relax the muscles.
Moxa
Artemisia vulgaris, is used to warm a needle or is applied directly to the skin to warm an acupuncture point. This can be very soothing and warming.
Cupping
Cupping may be used to help treat muscular-skeletal disorders. It involves creating a vacuum in glass cups and placing them on areas of the body.
Consultation
Your first acupuncture consultation and treatment usually takes about 75 minutes. Subsequent treatments take about 60 minutes.
