Category C License
If you are considering becoming an HGV driver, you have to start with the Category C license, as this is the entry-level for HGV licenses.
Category C & E License
Getting this license includes the basic Cat C as well as adding a trailer of over 750kg. This will be the largest vehicle you can drive in the industry.
Category C1 license
This type of HGV license allows you to drive vehicles between 3,500kg and 7,500kg, exactly what you need to drive an ambulance, a smaller delivery van or even a horsebox trailer or truck.
